The eSticky Consortium is committed to making esticky.eu accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities, in line with the European standard EN 301 549 and the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Conformance status
The site aims to be partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some legacy content (older article images and PDFs) may not yet meet all criteria; we are progressively remediating it.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate.
- Sufficient colour contrast and scalable typography.
- Keyboard-navigable interface and visible focus states.
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images.
- Multilingual content in English, Italian, German, Greek and Polish.
Known limitations
- Some archived article images may lack descriptive alt text.
- Some third-party embeds may not fully match our accessibility level.
